The short version

Everything you type into Rollquote (your rates, jobs, clients, shot lists and call sheets) stays in your own browser. It is never sent to us. The PDFs are made on your device too. The only thing we ever receive is your email address, and only if you ask to hear when Pro opens.

Who is responsible

Rollquote is a small independent tool made in Cape Town, South Africa. Our contact email will be listed here before the Pro list opens.

What stays on your device

Jobs and settings are kept in your browser's local storage on the device you use. We can't see them, back them up or recover them. Clearing your browser's data deletes them, so download a backup from Settings now and then.

If you join the Pro list

• We store your email address, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed.
• We use it only to email you about Rollquote Pro and new features, no more than once a month.
• We never sell it or share it, except with the services that store and send it for us (below).
• Every email has an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe we keep a record that you agreed and later unsubscribed, as proof, and nothing else.

Services we use

The site and the list are hosted by Cloudflare, which may store data outside South Africa. Cloudflare keeps standard security logs (such as IP addresses) to protect the site. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address above. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) or the data protection authority where you live.
